Alright, this post is probably my most recent trend obsession. Spirit Hoods!

Spirit Hood Snowboarder

During a recent trek through Northampton, Mass I spotted a poster outside the local Newbury Comics and had to get in that shop! In support of saving endangered species across the globe, Spirit Hoods is a company that has made a way to look AWESOME and give back to those who cannot defend themselves from hunters, poachers, and of course, nature’s own work. The only problem that is holding me back from a purchase on the spot is that the price tags very around $130-$150 for Men’s and Women’s (Children’s max out around $80). Certain hoods have a “Pro Blue” tag help you  give back!

We believe in inspiring positive change, and the truth is we can all help, this is why we have created PRO BLUE! When you purchase a SpiritHood with the PRO BLUE logo, we donate 10% of net profits to a non-profit organization dedicated to helping that particular Spirit animal. A major goal of ours is to educate people on the importance of helping these animals and empower them to make a difference.

Please head over to their website to check out more hoods, accessories, and other great movement’s this company is creating! Like their work with Falling Whistles!

Hey everybody! Now this blog is just the start of something wonderful, something that I really hope takes off and becomes quite the hit around town. Soon I will give you all more details, but to begin here’s the website of an organization that has lead me to these ideas. Wish me luck, enjoy TOMS products and the company’s movement.

In 2006, American traveler Blake Mycoskie befriended children in Argentina and found they had no shoes to protect their feet. Wanting to help, he created TOMS Shoes, a company that would match every pair of shoes purchased with a pair of new shoes given to a child in need. One for One. Blake returned to Argentina with a group of family, friends and staff later that year with 10,000 pairs of shoes made possible by TOMS customers.
